Absolutely one of my new favorite places to eat. Erika was so nice and the food, (I got the “bully”) was SO delicious. Wow. ❤️❤️ I will 10000% be back.
Decent, but not 5 stars like most other reviews. I had the Pitbull, which had waaaay too much ketchup and relish. Had to scrape off a ton of it. The meat was small compared to the bun and not flavorful. Maybe a different menu item would be better. J.Dawgs is a much more flavorful dog.
The service was great. Two ladies there who were very kind and attentive.
I've driven by many times and wanted to stop in. Wish I would have sooner. Great hot dog! The owner and cook were very nice. I got the Bully minus the onions and loved the unique flavor. It reminded me of the Sonora Dogs you get in Arizona. The fries were fantastic. Already looking forward to coming back.
I live real close by, and honestly? It's always such a treat to get a hot dog from these guys. The service is always super kind, and the food is phenomenal. Quite literally never had a better hotdogs anywhere else. There's lots of fun flavor combos, and all the options are named after dogs so it's super cool!
Wow! So glad we stopped here and gave this new business The Dawg Pound Gourmet Dogs in Layton a shot. The food was fresh, hot and delicious, and was a great twist from an everyday boring hot dogs. The service was amazing, you can't go wrong, Marcos and his staff were a delightful change of pace and super attentive and friendly. We chatted with Marcos for a good 20 minutes about food and his fun adventures. Ask him to try his sauces, the jalapeno, habanero and sriracha mayo were awesome. All around great experience and fabulous service. You must stop buy and give him a try!!

I order the Poi combo meal and it was delicious! The place was super clean, the woman working today was super nice and recommended the Poi. The fries were perfect! Super crispy yet still had a enough softness in the middle. The hot dog itself was fantastic! Did not feel or taste like a basic greasy dog at all! The condiments on the hotdog totally made it a new taste as well!
Even though the prices I though were just a tad high, I would recommend The Dawg Pound to anyone looking for a fun, unique, and delicious place to eat!
Best hot dog in the area! Very unique flavors and reminds me of my time in Austin TX where they are known for great food and where I had one of the best hot dogs I've ever had. Although Dawg Pounds "The Dobbie" was very very close!
Buns are big and are able to hold all the toppings which are all fresh and amazing! The dog itself is super flavorful!
Will be back to try their others.

The owners are very nice and will get you any style you want. My daughter has autism and was upset about the hotdog bun breaking. They couldn’t have been more kind to replace the bun. It looks expensive but it comes with fries and a drink. You will get full I promise. Kids meals are only 5.50. A cute and unique gem. We had a ‘dawg’ gone good time! Thanks! We will be back!
